Strain Description
The "IRES-iCre" cassette was inserted 27 bp downstream of the TAA stop codon. Cre recombinase is expressed under the regulatory control of Foxg1 gene elements, without impacting the endogenous expression of the Foxg1 gene.

The insertion site of the Cre recombinase gene expression cassette in this strain is located on chromosome 12. Please avoid breeding with gene-edited mice targeting genes on the same chromosome as the Cre mouse when conducting mating.
