Facility Overview
SPF-accredited facilities purpose-built for preclinical research—ensuring biosafety, data reproducibility, and international compliance.
Introduction
At Cyagen, our animal research infrastructure is designed with one clear purpose: to support reliable, ethical, and globally compliant preclinical studies. Each of our transgenic animal facilities is fully accredited under AAALAC and ISO 9001:2015, featuring Specific Pathogen-Free (SPF) environments and digitally traceable operations. From housing and breeding to environmental control and data security, every detail is optimized to safeguard animal welfare while upholding the scientific integrity of your research.
Accreditations & Certifications
We proudly maintain dual international certifications to support high-integrity research:
※AAALAC Full Accreditation
Recognized globally for promoting the humane treatment of animals in science.
※ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System
Ensures standardized operating procedures across all processes, including housing, breeding, testing, and reporting.
SPF Barrier Animal Facilities
Our Specific Pathogen-Free (SPF) barrier environments support over 150,000 cages, segmented into independent zones with dedicated air handling systems and entry protocols.
Key Features:
  • Individual Ventilated Caging (IVC) Systems
  • 100% fresh air circulation with ≥15 air changes/hour
  • HEPA filtration and positive pressure gradients
  • Daily monitoring of temperature, humidity, lighting, and differential pressure
Environmental and Equipment Controls
To ensure optimal study reproducibility and animal welfare, our facilities implement:
※Regular Environmental Monitoring
Pressure, noise, light cycles, ammonia levels, and air quality
※Sterilization Protocols
Autoclaving of feed, bedding, and cage components
Quarterly validation of steam sterilizers and vaporized hydrogen peroxide fumigation chambers
※Pest and Contamination Prevention
Third-party pest control biweekly; Quarterly environmental culture testing
Personnel Access & Training
  • All staff entering SPF facilities undergo gowning (PPE, air showers, sterilized uniforms)
  • Only qualified personnel with certified training may handle animals
  • All procedures follow IACUC and SOP requirements
Nutrition, Bedding & Enrichment
  • Feed & Water: Autoclaved or Co-60 irradiated, and QC-tested by third-party laboratories
  • Bedding & Nesting Materials: Sterilized and enriched with species-appropriate options
  • Cage Rotation: Weekly cage changes using laminar flow biosafety cabinets
Data & Information Security
Client confidentiality is paramount. All project data is:
  • Stored in secured, access-controlled company servers
  • Protected with daily backups
  • Only accessible to authorized project managers
Facility Locations
Our core transgenic animal centers are located in Gu’an, Guangzhou, and Suzhou, within dedicated biotech parks protected by 24/7 security and CCTV surveillance.

Global Antibody Drug Industry Development BlueBook (Frost & Sullivan)
Key Insights
The industry is undergoing a rapid transformation driven by next-generation modalities, globalized markets, and upstream technological innovations.
  • Market Structural Shift: Monoclonal antibodies drive steady growth, but ADCs and bispecifics are rapidly accelerating, reshaping the market with higher-value innovations.
  • Chinese Market Globalization: China is actively expanding globally, evidenced by a surge in high-value cross-border license-out deals.
  • Technology-Driven Efficiency: Advanced discovery engines—exemplified by Cyagen's HUGO-Ab platform and AI algorithms—are streamlining candidate screening, optimizing molecular design, and localizing the upstream supply chain.
  • Oncology-Focused Innovation: R&D pipelines remain heavily concentrated on high-incidence malignancies like non-small cell lung cancer, utilizing complex modalities to combat clinical resistance.
