Reza Rezaei, Ph.D.

Chief Executive Officer

Reza Rezaei holds a Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine (DVM) as well as a Ph.D. and has been in biopharma sales since his graduation from Texas A&M University. He has extensive experience working with lab animals both as a clinical practitioner and a research scientist.

Joseph Wekselblatt, Ph.D.

Director of Business Development

Joseph Wekselblatt is an experienced scientist who has studied visual capabilities in various species for over a decade. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Cognitive Science from Brown University and a PhD in Neurobiology from the University of Oregon. After completing his PhD, he worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Caltech until 2023, when he joined Cyagen as a Senior Scientific Business Development Manager.

Ashcon Khoubyari

Business Development Manager

Ashcon is a biotech professional at Cyagen with a strong background in genome editing, molecular biology, and client-focused scientific solutions. Ashcon holds a Bachelor of Science in Pharmaceutical Chemistry from the University of California, Davis. He is passionate about bridging the gap between cutting-edge science and practical research solutions. For the past 9 years, he has been helping investigators accelerate discovery with confidence in the Biotech Industry.
