Mario Cocco, Ph.D.
Business Development Manager, UK & Israel
Mario holds an MSc in Biological Sciences and a PhD in Medical Biotechnology. He spent nearly a decade in academic research in the UK investigating transcription-factor networks in B-cell differentiation and their dysregulation in hematologic cancers.
He later served as a scientific lead in preclinical immunology and immunotoxicology, supporting drug-development programmes across small molecules, checkpoint inhibitors, and cell and gene therapies. Transitioning into business development, Mario now applies his combined scientific and commercial expertise to build partnerships, support therapeutic innovation, and drive growth across the UK market.
