Principal Scientist

As the Principal Scientist at Cyagen, Dr. Ouyang oversees the company’s scientific operations and strategic development of genetically engineered mouse model services. With over two decades of experience in the field, Dr. Ouyang has led innovations that have advanced Cyagen’s global leadership in custom model generation. He is passionate about bridging cutting-edge technologies with translational research to accelerate biomedical discoveries. Before joining Cyagen in 2012, Dr. Ouyang served as the head of Molecular Biology at Taconic Biosciences.

Emily Adney, Ph.D.

Business Development Manager, Pacific Northwest & Western Canada

Emily brings five years of life sciences industry experience and a deep academic research background.

She holds an MA in Molecular Biophysics and a Ph.D. in Human Genetics from the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, where she studied mobile elements, and further explored complex cancer genomics and virology as a postdoc at Weill Cornell Medicine and NYU.

She applies her scientific and commercial expertise to connect researchers with innovative preclinical solutions that advance our understanding and treatment of human disease.
