Il5ra, the interleukin 5 receptor, alpha, is a well-established regulator of eosinophil activation. It is involved in eosinophil-mediated anti-parasitic activities and allergic reactions. IL5RA also participates in pathways such as the PI3K-Akt signaling pathway [1].
