Detailed Document
Overview of Gene Research
Actrt3, an actin-related protein, has been implicated in important biological processes. It may be involved in telomere maintenance and has connections to the development of multiple cancers. It also seems to play a role in B-cell activation, suggesting its importance in immune-related pathways [1,2].
Multi-tissue transcriptome-wide association study (TWAS) detected an association between Actrt3 in the 3q26 region and genes involved in telomere maintenance, which is related to the development of multiple cancers [1,3]. In the study of B-cell activation, Actrt3 was determined as a crucial gene in the Be1 network, indicating its significance in the molecular mechanisms of B-cell activation [2].
In conclusion, Actrt3 is involved in telomere maintenance and B-cell activation processes. Its association with multiple cancers through telomere-related mechanisms and its role in B-cell activation networks contribute to our understanding of cancer development and immune-related functions. Studies on Actrt3 help to uncover shared mechanisms in carcinogenesis and immune-related diseases, providing potential insights for prevention and intervention strategies.
