Strain Description
The TAG stop codon was replaced with the "P2A-iCre" cassette. Cre recombinase is expressed under the regulatory control of Grik3 gene elements, without impacting the endogenous expression of the Grik3 gene.
Announcement
The insertion site of the Cre recombinase gene expression cassette in this strain is located on chromosome 4. Please avoid breeding with gene-edited mice targeting genes on the same chromosome as the Cre mouse when conducting mating.
