Strain Description
The "IRES-EGFP-WPRE-rBG pA" cassette was inserted into the region 60~100 bp downstream of the TAA stop codon of mouse endogenous Krt24 gene. Enhanced green fluorescent protein (EGFP) is expressed under the regulatory control of Krt24 gene elements, without impacting the endogenous expression of the Krt24 gene. This model enables EGFP fluorescence protein tracing studies.
Announcement
The insertion site of the EGFP gene expression cassette in this strain is located on chromosome 11. Please avoid breeding with gene-edited mice targeting genes on the same chromosome as the EGFP mouse when conducting mating.
